Michelle Shearer, Toddler Teacher

Michelle Shearer grew up in Duluth, and moved to Cloquet with her husband in 2012. They have two children, Hailey and Leo. Working with children has always been a passion of Michelle’s, and she has been in and out of the early childhood field since 2008. In addition to early childhood, Michelle worked at the JCPenney salon as a cosmetologist, and was employed as a Health Unit Coordinator for Saint Mary’s Birthplace. Although she loved doing hair and working with pregnant women and newborns, her heart has continuously brought her back to working with children! Currently, Michelle is taking a few online classes through UWS to complete her Elementary Teaching degree. Michelle’s hobbies include camping, swimming, cross country skiing, painting, and spending as much time as possible with her family. Michelle is so excited to be a Toddler Teacher at Lakeside Early Learning, and we are so thankful to have such a caring, creative, and fun teacher for our youngest students!
